It’s good that you made the decision to enrol yourself in Japanese courses in Singapore instead of trying to learn self-learn Japanese.

2. Listen to Japanese podcasts and radio stations
Watching Japanese TV shows, drama and anime only work to some extent. Therefore, podcasts and radio stations are better alternatives, as you can listen to them on the go.
Sneak even just a few minutes of learning Japanese via podcasts and radio stations in your life. You will subconsciously pick up certain words and phrases, which can further improve your vocabulary and hence make it easier for you to learn the language.
3. Read Japanese Books
Reading books in Japanese may be perceived to be challenging, but it is actually not that difficult.
Start off with children books containing many pictures and a few phrases or words to give you context and meaning on certain words.

4. Talk in Japanese often
Converse in Japanese often, even for only a few minutes at a time or in front of the mirror. By doing this, you are helping yourself to practice and retain most information you have just learned from your Japanese class in Singapore.
It would also be better if you practise speaking Japanese with other people. This will help you build the foundation of conversational knowledge of the Japanese language.
