“Learning is proven effective if it suits the learning styles of the student. Whether you are a beginner in Japanese or an advanced learner, Japanese Explorer can cater to your level one-on-one through its Private Japanese Lessons.”

Though some students prefer learning in class, our Japanese language school also wants to attend to students who prefer an individual schedule. Whatever preference you have, we are ready to accommodate your needs.
Here at Japanese Explorer, we use the curriculum produced by the AJALT (Association for Japanese-Language Teaching). Hence, we can guarantee you that learning the Japanese language will be authentic, precise, and accurate.
The courses in our Japanese language school also adopt a unique teaching and learning system, different from those in usual Japanese language schools. The first half of the class is dedicated to learning grammar, and the second half is dedicated to the practical use of language, which is speaking and listening.
Learning Nihongo, or the Japanese language, through private lessons, provides not only mastery of the language but also a new and unique perspective on Japanese culture.
It can be difficult for some to study the Japanese language solely through classroom academic learning in today’s world. In fact, some students have attested that studying the Japanese language in a Japanese learning environment only amplified the difficulties of understanding this Asian language. That’s why most of them would prefer to attend private language classes in a Japanese language school.
Private lessons offer a flexible schedule that can be tailored to fit your lifestyle. You will be confident enough to speak and use the language because you won’t be afraid of being judged in front of your peers.
Singaporean culture highly values individualism rather than collectivism. We believe in meeting and exceeding expectations from students who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Thus, many people prefer one-on-one or private sessions in terms of education and business, too. The same applies when learning Japanese or other foreign languages.
Japanese Explorer’s instructors are experienced and certified, and are bilingual (English and Japanese). Our tutors also have years of experience in teaching the Japanese language. Individual sessions of online classes might help you develop confidence and improve your speaking abilities if you are frightened or nervous about speaking in front of a crowd or group.
Having a proper conversation with your Japanese tutor in your online classes is great for improving your speaking and conversational skills. Not only will you be able to improve your conversational Japanese skills, but you can also ask about Japan’s culture. Because our teachers are native speakers of the language, they will be able to share more insight regarding their country and traditions.
You won’t have to deal with your classmates or adjust to their level because it’s a one-on-one session. Private Japanese classes assist both the teacher and the student in choosing the most appropriate lessons for the student’s level.
You may not only speak the language freely without being interrupted by the crowd, but you can also ask the Japanese teacher questions if you are unclear about the lesson. It fosters greater engagement, and you are free to bring up any questions you have regarding language and culture.
Japanese Explorer will work with your schedule. Each level of Japanese lesson consists of 12 lessons, with each taking up 2 hours, so you may choose your desired time and day for the lessons.
Some people function best when they are alone. They believe they are more effective when there are no interruptions or influence from other students.
Many students choose us because we teach the basics of the Japanese language through conversation and socialising with each other. We also let students use their own creativity and imagination about the culture. This way, they can learn Japanese effectively. Studying Japanese is not limited to memorising words, but it can include learning how to make origami or folding paper cranes; baking or cooking traditional Japanese food; understanding basic greetings and common phrases, and even cooking sushi!
These activities will paint a vivid picture of what Japan is like: a place with various forms of art, culture, and diversity. We believe in meeting and exceeding expectations from students who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
